Our hospitals and medical centre in Malaysia have refreshed their brand identities, with new logos featuring the HMI Spark, the shared symbol that connects us as part of HMI Medical’s regional healthcare network.

Formed by four greater-than symbols coming together, the HMI Spark represents our drive to keep doing More with Care and our shared ambition to spark change for the future of healthcare.

Over the years, our hospitals and medical centre Mahkota and Regency, have continued to grow, bringing more specialist expertise, services and medical technology to the patients and communities we serve.

The refreshed identities reflect this progress and our ambitions for the future. It also makes our connection to the wider HMI Medical family more recognisable, while preserving the heritage and trust our hospitals have built over the years.

From 15 October 2026, you’ll start to see our new logos online, at our hospitals and medical centre, and in our communications as we gradually introduce our refreshed look.

Melaka, Malaysia

Mahkota Medical Centre is now Mahkota Specialist Hospital, with a refreshed logo featuring the HMI Spark.

Over more than three decades, Mahkota has grown into a comprehensive tertiary hospital, bringing together specialist and subspecialist expertise, multidisciplinary care and advanced medical technology. Its commitment to quality care is recognised by Joint Commission International (JCI), with hospital-wide accreditation and specialised certifications for its Breast Cancer and Chronic Kidney Disease programmes.

With a new hospital block under development, Mahkota is set to become Melaka’s largest private hospital by 2029, with a total capacity of up to 430 beds, providing patients with greater access to specialist care.

Our new name and refreshed identity reflect Mahkota’s continued growth and ambitions for the future, while building on the expertise, experience and commitment to care that patients have trusted for generations.

Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Regency Specialist Hospital and Regency Medical Care Centre retain their existing names, with refreshed logos featuring the HMI Spark.

Regency continues to strengthen its specialist and multidisciplinary care, with a newly completed building at Regency Specialist Hospital featuring a comprehensive cancer centre, next-generation smart wards and enhanced specialist services. The hospital is working towards a total capacity of up to 500 beds.

At Regency Medical Care Centre, plans are underway to introduce day surgery, endoscopy and other outpatient services, giving patients more convenient access to care and a more connected experience between the hospital and medical centre.

Our refreshed identities reflect Regency’s continued growth and ambitions for the future, while building on the expertise, experience and commitment to care that patients have come to know and trust.
